What does is mean to be Sacramental?
God comes to His people through the means He has promised. We receive His grace in Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confession & Absolution, where Christ Himself forgives sins, strengthens faith, and gives new life. These gifts are not merely symbolic, but His gracious work for His Church until He returns.
What does is mean to be Confessional?
We joyfully confess the historic Christian faith handed down by the apostles and faithfully preserved throughout the centuries. We hold to the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, because they faithfully proclaim the truth of Holy Scripture and guard the Church against false teaching.
What does is mean to be Liturgical?
Our worship follows the historic Divine Service of the Christian Church, where Christ gathers His people around His Word and His Sacraments. The liturgy is more than tradition. It is the Church’s participation in the heavenly worship, where God comes to serve His people with His forgiveness, life, and salvation.
What does is mean to be Triune?
We worship the one true God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three distinct Persons, yet one eternal God, equal in glory and majesty. From creation to redemption and sanctification, the Holy Trinity is at the center of everything we believe, confess, and proclaim.
